Juan Torres also known as Juancho is a Colombian photographer whose images explore social inequality and human-right issues.EDUCATION 2008
He studied Photojournalism at the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) and Social Communication and Journalism at Politécnico Gran Colombiano in Colombia.
He works as a freelance photojournalist and also pursuing personal documentary projects. In 2015, Juancho returns to Colombia after a long time in the United States, to photograph the country’s protracted conflict and indigenous communities in South America.
Juancho is a regular contributor for some news agency’s like Images Live, International Photomedia, His photographs have been featured in Positive Magazine in Italy, Newsweek, Las Dos Orillas Magazine, DW News, Daily Mail, Internazionale among others. Currently based in Colombia and South America, available for assignment worldwide.
